Proteus System Update (03.03.09)

The Proteus System

As you may be aware the complete IT solution comprises several components, the first of which is Proteus, the work horse case management system which is designed to improve work output with the minimum of effort from letter writing to work flows thus minimising errors and increasing profitability within your business.

In addition Hermes, the dynamic client relationship management (CRM) system, designed for simplicity specifically for busy professionals, enables you to maintain quality relationships with those with whom you wish to do business or already do business with, from a marketing perspective.

Proteus and Hermes both interface with Thea our back office intranet system which manages virtually all your desired back office processes from staff absences and training requests to telephone call management and meeting room bookings.

To compliment the entire suite, Xpress Day, our own digital dictation software interface allows you to digitally dictate letters documents and such like into most standard digital dictation machines and virtually automatically download them to our specialist dictation transcribers in New Zealand thereby ensuring that your letters and documents are returned to your files word perfect by the next day.

Crammed with additional functionality, TouchDial provides an integrated VoiP telephone dialling system so that you can always make telephone calls - even on the go - as long as you have a broadband dongle or other internet connection.

As a combined solution they are all collectively known as The Proteus System.

Update

As at the time of writing this article, Proteus has now been tested by select individuals within Penn Group. The testing team included a Solicitor, Mortgage Broker and an Accountant to ensure that the system met the different requirements of the different professionals and the professional bodies they are responsible to, such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The testing team hard tested the systems to see where any vulnerabilities lay and made the whole system practically functional and supportive of the jobs of the professional end users.

The system has now been rolled out to all our own staff and is now being beta tested by selected clients of Penn Group.

We will very shortly deploy to all the clients of Penn Group for final phase testing in a full working environment to ensure that every conceivable function has been aggressively tested and is fully operational as well and being easy to use. During this phase we will modify our systems following any feedback we get from our own (real) clients to ensure that it meets their demands and wishes and of course is fully operational and bug free.

Once that phase has been completed, which we anticipate will be by the end of March 2009 we will be ready to commence sales of the system to company's just like yours, in the full knowledge that the system is robust, error free and easy to use by professionals and their clients in a safe and secure environment.
